Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc

I recently traveled to the French Rivera and had the opportunity to spend a day in the beautiful seaside town of Antibes.  Because we were on a twenty-something travelers budget, we stayed in more modest accommodations in Nice and took day trips along the coast.  However, next time I go back I plan to see the South of France the "right" way - in style.

My preference would be spending a week at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, one of the world's most iconic and luxurious hotels located on Cap D'Antibes.  It has long been known for elegance and glamour - and clearly Karl Lagerfeld agrees with me as he rented out the entire hotel to serve as the backdrop to the Chanel Cruise 2012 fashion show {which you can watch here}.  From the infamous pool overlooking the Mediterranean {including a trapeze over the water that guests can plan on}, to the classic French interiors, to the perfectly manicured grounds, to the gourmet restaurants and Bellini Bar - it is the perfect getaway when you are looking to treat yourself.
